IDEAT WRITES ABOUT US

We were given the pleasure to meet a journalist from Ideat at our Grand Opening. Thanks to her for this supportive article.

"We dreamed of it, Formes Utiles did it! In its new 450 m2 showroom in Lyon, the designer pieces are revisited thanks to the talent of the street artist Pec. "

"Imagined by Bruno Dürr (antique dealer) and Fabrice Murawka (collector of designer furniture), the founders of Formes Utiles, this new Ali Baba cavern exhibits cult pieces from the history of design, which are not often to be found. "

“The 150 pieces on display, (…), showcase the quintessence of the great design streams, like the exceptional furniture of Charlotte Perriand. "This sideboard with sliding doors, typical of the 1950s, was produced in Jean Prouvé’s workshops", explains Bruno, "it comes from Mauritania, as does the bench in mahogany slats placed on a base in black lacquered metal. Opposite, two rare metal basket armchairs were featured in the film by Jacques Tati "Mon oncle". On the sideboard, the ceramic head is signed by Robert and Jean Cloutier ”.
