  • Delphin MASSIER

Pair of large glazed ceramic vases by Delphin Massier, late 19th century.

Of elongated form, they stand on a tulip-shaped base and rise into a slender body, topped with a neck formed by four folded leaves acting as handles. The glaze, in deep raspberry red with green iridescent highlights, reflects the craftsmanship of the Vallauris workshops.

Through their proportions and the quality of the glaze, these vases embody the decorative research developed by the Massier family, focused on surface effects and color.
