We are charmed by this whimsical anthropomorphic box by Robert and Jean Cloutier, celebrated French ceramists known for their imaginative and vivid works.
Crafted from red clay with a rich glaze in shades of blue and green tones, this box features a lid adorned with a sculpted face and playful detailing.
The piece is signed underneath with the inscription: Cloutier RJ.
Provenance: Artists' Studio. A certificate of authenticity from the Cloutier Brothers' widows will be provided to the purchaser.
