Rare kitchen set composed of a table and four chairs by André Sornay, cabinetmaker and designer from Lyon, made around 1955.
Each piece features a tubular black-lacquered metal structure, a light-toned laminated top and seat with visible edges, and vivid orange-red lacquered backrests. This set reflects Sornay's pursuit of durability and clarity of line, consistent with his mid-century rational design approach.
A refined example of French domestic modernism, functional, elegant, and timeless.
