Silvy Weatherall

Silvy Weatherall (nee Johnston) is married with 4 children. Between 1995 and 2005 she took time out of her Art practice and concentrated on rearing her young family. During that time they lived in Hong Kong for three years followed by two years in Sydney, Australia. They moved back to Dumfries in South West Scotland in 1998. Her husband, Ben, is a farmer and business man.

Silvy has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions and had solo shows in the Philippines, Hong Kong and Scotland. Silvy has completed a large number of commissions. She is a keen cook, sings solo jazz and has sung with various choirs over the years. In December 2008 she co produced a CD , singing traditional jazz favourites with the Pianist Derek Paravicini, sales from this CD raises funds and awareness for The AMBER Trust.
