Norway's national bird, the pretty little Dipper is a familiar sight along European rivers and streams. It takes its name from its curious bobbing behaviour. When perched, usually on a rock beside the water, it spasmodically dips its head and cocks its short tail up in the air.
Hamish has caught the Dipper in characteristic pose, sitting on a rock, looking as if towards the water. This fascinating river bird is known to actually walk beneath the surface to find food.
Available in a limited edition of 25, this bronze Dipper sculpture would make a great present for wildlife lovers, ornithologists and fishermen everywhere.
