This beautiful example displays a navette shaped blade pierced with a band of raying flower heads in roundels, surrounded by trailing foliate scroll work. The blade is engraved with an outer bright cut border and a navette shaped cartouche, containing a contemporary "Stag" Crest. The Slice is in excellent condition and displays an Old English Thread pattern handle. The blade is fully marked on the reverse.
