The Ladle has an attractive shell bowl engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. The arched stem terminates in an applied cast "Onslow" pattern end. The Onslow pattern was first designed by Arthur Onslow (1691-1768), the Great Speaker of Parliament. This example is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
