A very good pair of C19 th French giltwood open armchairs with exceptional water gilding. The bold scrolled arm with cushioned armrests, a rectangular upholstered back framed with delicate detail and repeated rosette and leaf motive duplicated on the arms and front of chair seat. The legs have a nice kick out to them front and back, the arms splay too giving you a very comfortable seat. Height to seat 17 inches
