Geo lV mahogany Gillows Hunt table with original brass furniture. The kidney shaped top of this hunt table sits on an apron with a fine edge and panels above each leg. The top one piece of wood in its original dry state with original brass rail on two finial brass supports raised above from the table top with detail acanthus leaf and fluting up the supports. The brass rail would have originally had a curtain pulled across it and hanging from it . The original rings are tied to the end of one support. Below the apron the table is raised on4 largestrong fluted, tapering turned legs with their originalbrass castors. Originally used for serving drinks after a days hunting it has very nice patina and stands very sculpturally in any environment. Its kidney shape is intriguing and only invites more interest.
