Harriet Hue
Pen and pencil was Harriet's first love, later with time and confidence she came to feel the same with brush and paint. Colour still to this day brings a smile to Harriet's face and being able to use it everyday is a huge reward!!!
With a first class Degree in Fine Art and then even more education after; learning computer design such as Adobe Illustrator and other art courses to hone Harriet's skills. Harriet has managed to realise her childhood dream of becoming an artist!
The last few years of living on the Isle of Wight has opened Harriet's eyes to a beautiful range of powerful colours, that she was not used to having around her growing up in a built up town. Harriet now sees why people flock to this place every year, to breathe in the clean air and partake of the tranquil life by the sea.
Harriet's work currently is a mixture of such influences around her, woods, trees, and the ever embracing landscapes. Harriet likes to work on still life too for the colour exercises which help her hone her bright and 'painterly' style.
