Cathy Golden

Cathy has been painting and drawing since childhood, but went to university to study dentistry and now runs a specialist practice. She was drawn back to art in 2001 when she joined the Foundation Course in Art and Design at the University of Gloucestershire, achieving distinction in 2003 followed by the degree course in Fine Art Painting and Drawing graduating in 2008. She is a member of the Medical Art Society.

Cathy took a year's sabbatical in 2013 to travel and work around the world with her family. Now back, she has cut her clinical commitments to focus on her art.

She has 4 children, a dashing husband and divides her time between Cheltenham and the Isle of Wight
