The Buttons are circular in form and consist of four small buttons for the cuffs and six larger buttons for the front of the coat. The face of each is engraved with a set of contemporary script initials surrounded by trailing floral and foliate designs. Each is marked with GW maker's mark for the small worker Gabriel Wirgman.
Diameter of the larger buttons: 1 inch, 2.5 cm.
Diameter of the smaller buttons: 0.75 inches, 1.88 cm.
