The Vinaigrette is of broad rectangular, cushion, form. The plain silver sides display a serpentine shaped thumb piece and both the cover and base are inset with very unusually shaded, slightly domed, Scottish agate panels. The cover opens up to reveal a beautifully pierced and engraved grille displaying a floral spray including a harebell. This unusual Vinaigrette is in excellent condition. Although unmarked, this is almost certainly Scottish in origin.
