The unusual Slice has a fiddle pattern handle engraved with an unusual Crest above a set of contemporary script initials. The shaped blade is beautifully engraved with foliate plumes and an outer band of wave designs. The centre of the blade is pierced and engraved with a dolphin and fish. This example is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the blade and the reverse of the handle.
