The Beakers are modelled in an unusual size and were almost certainly used for drinking something strong. Each has plain tapering sides, with palely gilded interiors, and the front displays an unusual contemporary Crest. John Emes made especially fine beakers and the foot is beautifully spun, which shows quality of production. Each piece displays a full set of hallmarks on the side of the main body.
Height: 2.6 inches, 6.5 cm.
Diameter at the rim: 2.5 inches, 6.25 cm.
Weight: 6oz, the pair.
