The Pepper stands on a circular pedestal foot decorated with reeding. The cylindrical plain body is also decorated with double thread bands and an unusual contemporary Crest. The pull-off cover is pierced with tear drop motifs around a central roundel. The interior is finely gilded and this example is very well marked on the main body and the cover.
Height: 2.5 inches, 6.25 cm.
Diameter, at the widest point: 1.1 inches, 2.75 cm.
