The Caddy Spoon is finely modelled as a "Hoof" with pierced gallery on the rim of the bowl.  The bowl is also engraved with prick dot and wriggle work bands.  The curved handle is decorated with herring bone designs and a vacant, prick dot, tear drop shaped cartouche.  This example is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.  Similar designs, also by Cocks and Bettridge, can be seen in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 50, figure a.

Length: 2.65 inches.

Width of the bowl: 1.45 inches.
