The Caddy Spoon is unusually modelled as a spade with T bar handle. The bowl is unusually engraved with a rayed flower head on a hatched ground surrounded by various prick dot and wriggle work bands. The spoon is marked in the decoration and is also engraved on the reverse with the contemporary script intials JL.. This design of caddy spoon is especially rare and a similar form is shown on plate 48 of "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie.

Length: 2.85 inches, 7.13cm.
Width of the bowl: 1.25 inches, 3.13cm.
