The Spoon is modelled in the Hanoverian pattern, with a double pendant drop on the back of the bowl. The top of the stem is engraved with a set of contemporary scratch engraved initials and this example has a most outstanding set of marks. The quality of the bowl is also exceptional, as it displays a most outstanding tip. The spoon is of an excellent weight, gauge and colour. It is most unusual to find one of these oversized spoons from the provinces.
Length: 15.5 inches.
Width, at the widest section of the bowl: 2.75 inches.
Weight: 7.5 oz.
