The Spoon has a scallop shell bowl and curved handle decorated with bright cut and prick dot designs. The top of the stem is also engraved with a contemporary Crest issuing from a Ducal Coronet, all contained within a shield cartouche. The Spoon is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse of the stem. A near identical example is illustrated in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 17, fig c.
Length: 2.9 inches, 7.25 cm.
Width of the bowl: 1.5 inches, 3.75 cm.
