C19th French painted faux bamboo daybed with cane base.The wooden frame carved to look like bamboo and painted a lovely yellow colour to enhance the appearance of bamboo.The cane work is in excellent condition and I have had an exceptional squab cushion made for the seat and backrest which has been constructed to follow the shaped curve of the backrest.
