A majolica glazed ceramic monopodium support stool with a cushion style top. With 4 , 3 dimensional lions 's heads resting on their paws, they make up a magnificent base. The glaze a wonderful turquoise blue colour which changes to a darker green/brown colour around the face ,paw and base of the stool. The glaze picks out the detail of the design well. The top to the stool mimics a cushion that has a gathered in edge. A lively block of colour and a very useful stool / table / stand.
