George lV exceptionally well figured mahogany library bookcase,with a low wasted base,wonderful fielded panels,really showing off the excellent colour and proportion. The detail that makes this the rare piece is the extra moulding framed around the edge of each door and open edge. Adjustable open shelves to the case and shelves in the base. Originally when built no glue or nails were used,the bookcase arrived dismantled,a couple of hundred years later it all just slotted into place, literally like it was made yesterday. You can’t get better than that. Makers name Holland and sons stamped on each door
