This exceptional Vinaigrette is modelled in an unusual slender, wide, broad rectangular form.  The cover is beautifully engraved with the rare, and very finely detailed, acorn and oak leaf design on a scratch engraved background.  This design is seldom seen, especially executed to this standard.  The sides display two prick dot bands and the base a foliate sprig, surrounded by a wrigglework border.  The interior displays very fine gilding and a very rare grille design, with central pierced and engraved flower head, flanked by two foliate sprigs.  This is all surrounded by a textured panel, simulating the surface of material.  The box is in excellent condition and is very well marked.

Length: 1.9 inches. 4.75 cm.

Width: 1.45 inches, 3.63 cm.
