An extremely rare set of four George IV Silver Gilt Boudoir Labels all made in London, three by Thomas & James Phipps, circa 1820 and one is fully marked for Charles Rawlings, London, 1823.

This very rare set are of oval form with pretty reed and shell borders. The labels are pierced for "EAU.DE.OEILLET"(Carnation Water), "EAU DE DELICES", (Citrus Water), "EAU DE JONQUILLE",(Daffodil Water) and "EAU DE REZEDA, (Garden Mignonette Water). The labels all unusually hang on one chain and were probably for use around a bottle frame. All titles are previously unrecorded. Three labels are by Thomas and James Phipps, London, circa 1820 ( maker's mark only) and one is fully marked by Charles Rawlings, London 1823. They are in quite excellent condition.
