The Caddy Spoon is modelled in the rare early bi-furcated design and displays a scallop shell bowl and bright cut engraved bi-furcated handle, with bright cut shoulders where it is joined to the bowl.  The top of the stem is engraved with a shield shaped cartouche, which contains contemporary script initials.  This spoon came from the most famous Caddy Spoon Collection of all time, the John Norie Collection, and is illustrated in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 2, Figure e This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse of the stem.
