This fine Vinaigrette is palely gilded and is engraved with concentric designs on the cover and base, around a central elongated oval. The sides display horizontal bands of engine turning and the interior displays exceptional gilding and a grille engraved with trellis work and pierced with roundels. The Vinaigrette is in excellent condition and is very well marked. Phipps & Robinson made very fine boxes and vinaigrettes in London at this date.
