The silver gilt Toddy Ladles are modelled in the fiddle and thread pattern which is double struck, the pattern being on the front and the back. Each has a shallow bowl and curved stem which is engraved with the Crest of England surrounded by the Motto of the Order of the Garter, all surmounted by the Sovereign's Crown, as used by King George III and his consort Queen Charlotte. Both pieces are in quite excellent condition and display very good marks.
