This beautiful box is broad rectangular in form and both the cover and base are decorated with bands of bluebells and beaded stylised flower heads, a design which we have not seen before. The sides are also decorated with these same designs. The cover opens up to reveal one of Matthew Linwood's cast grilles depicting a trellis work panel, surrounded by a plain frame, a grille design which we had not seen before. The box is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the bezel.
